Chelsea star offered to Al-Hilal amid reported interest from Manchester City

Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, a Manchester City target, has reportedly been offered by his agent to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal. The Portugal international has been at Stamford Bridge since the summer of 2024.

Arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers two years ago in a move worth a reported £54 million, Neto, 26, has made over 100 appearances across competitions in two seasons, registering 19 goals and as many assists.

Last season, he contributed 10 goals and as many assists in 52 games across competitions. Despite being contracted to Stamford Bridge till 2031, Neto could be on the move this summer. As per media personality Gianluigi Longari, Neto’s agent Jorge Mendes has offered his client to Al-Hilal.

Daily Mail reported interest on Neto from Manchester City, whose new boss Enzo Maresca had managed the Portuguese in 2024-25, winning the UEFA Europa Conference League title. The Italian said on his unveiling as the City boss:

“I have been quite lucky in terms of my former clubs, Leicester and Chelsea I think we did a great job in both clubs. The identity of the team was clear. The success of the team was clear, and I feel very lucky to be part of these clubs.”

The potential arrival of Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen could make Neto surplus to requirements, with the winger likely to play UEFA Champions League if he reunites with Maresca at the Etihad.
