Chelsea trio Enzo Fernandez, Marc Cucurella and Joao Pedro have set tongues wagging over potential Real Madrid moves after being pictured alongside Jude Bellingham at the Madrid Open. The quartet were seen courtside during the last-16 encounter between Vit Kopriva and Rafael Jodar, with Jobe Bellingham also present.
The three Chelsea players, who were granted permission to make the trip after being given time off, were seated in front of the Bellingham brothers, with Sky Sports cameras capturing handshakes exchanged between the group. Fernandez was also filmed in conversation with the Real Madrid midfielder.
The latter may raise eyebrows among Chelsea supporters after the Argentine stoked speculation about a possible switch to Los Blancos with remarks during the March international break, which subsequently led to an internal suspension.

Fernandez was brought back into the squad earlier this month and appeared to send an emphatic statement about his future by gesturing towards the Chelsea badge after netting in the FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United. Nevertheless, doubts persist over Fernandez’s long-term prospects at Stamford Bridge.
Cucurella also faced disciplinary action for contentious remarks he made recently, as the left-back criticised the Chelsea project and the decision to sack Enzo Maresca.

Without a permanent head coach at the helm, players speaking out against the club and Champions League qualification prospects for next season hanging in the balance, the Blues look to be in turmoil.
At least there is an FA Cup final against Manchester City to savour next month, with Calum McFarlane — serving his second stint as caretaker boss — steering Chelsea to a 1-0 win in the semi-finals last Sunday.
Fernandez proved to be the match-winner at Wembley Stadium, with McFarlane offering a glowing assessment of everything he admires about the 25 year old.
He said: “I said that to him at the end, I said, ‘you like scoring at the back post for me’. And he just laughed. He does that really well, he’s done it all year.
“It’s one of his biggest attributes, that when you attack down the right, his timing of his runs, his ability to actually get good distance and height on his jump and his heading technique is really good. He’s a winner, he’s got so much talent, he’s got so much fight, he’s massive for this group.
“And the best thing about Enzo is that he can do a bit of everything, but when it gets tough, you see the fight in him, you see him driving the group on, you see him making tackles, you see him fighting for every loose ball. So he was exceptional today and deserved his Man of the Match.”
On his goals, McFarlane added: “It’s something we rely on a lot. That’s why he’s changed position a lot over the last few years. He’s played deeper, he’s played as a No.10, he’s moved about.
“But I think he’s such a threat in the box that the higher up you play him, and he can drop down and he can drift, but the higher up you play him, he can really cause opposition’s problems in that left half space and attacking the back stick.”
