Barcelona urged to sign Joao Pedro over Julian Alvarez
Former Barcelona scout Bojan Krkic has revealed that he is interested in signing Joao Pedro over Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.

Chelsea signed Pedro last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m, and the Brazilian has had a successful first season to date.
Pedro has scored 19 goals in all competitions, with 14 of those coming in the Premier League, and he’s made the number nine position his own.

Pedro still has a chance to become the first Chelsea striker since Diego Costa to score 20 league goals in a season, but would need six goals in the last four games.
His form hasn’t gone unnoticed, and Pedro has been linked with Spanish champions Barcelona, and one of their former scouts believes he’d be a better fit for the club than Alvarez.
“Joao Pedro is ideal for the Barca system,” he told Cadena Ser as quoted by Barca Blaugranes.
“I would bet on Joao Pedro rather than Julián, I like him more. Overall, Julián is still a great player. He finishes, he plays well, he is very complete.
“Pedro is similar to Julián but he is more of a goal scorer and a better player.”
