Trevoh Chalobah hits out at Chelsea fan asking him to leave the club with hilarious claim on social media

Trevoh Chalobah hit back with an 11-word response to a Chelsea fan who said he would play for Leeds United next season following the Blues’ FA Cup semi-final win.

Chalobah played the full 90 minutes of Sunday’s game at Wembley as Enzo Fernandez’s first-half goal gave the Blues a 1-0 win. At the full-time whistle, Chalobah displayed a show of emotion, turning toward Leeds United fans, letting out a loud roar before making a shushing gesture.

The defender’s reaction has since gone viral on social media. However, not all Chelsea fans were pleased with his outburst, with one fan tweeting:

“He needs to relax he’s going there next season.”

Chalobah did not take kindly to the remark, as he quoted the tweet, saying:

“Na you need for relax, even your shadow no believe you”

The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Chelsea and played across different age brackets before being promoted to the senior team in 2021. To date, he has made 148 appearances for the Stamford Bridge outfit across all competitions.

He has been a mainstay at the club this season and recently said he and his Blues teammates have to take responsibility following Liam Rosenior’s sacking.

“When a manager goes, it is difficult. You obviously spend time with them and work with them daily, so you have to adapt and reset again. We have to look at ourselves as players and take responsibility from now until the end of the season. It is about not making excuses, going again and trying to win our games.”

Chalobah issues rallying cry after Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final win

Speaking to the media after Chelsea arrested their slide with a win over Leeds, Chalobah urged his teammates to build on the victory, insisting that they have five finals ahead.

“It’s another final for us,” he told the club’s website. “Last year we were in finals (UEFA Conference League and Club World Cup) and the year before too (with the Carabao Cup). So, we have that mentality, and it’s good that we showed that. We all knew what the goal was: to win no matter what. For us, it’s just focusing on what we have. There are another five finals ahead: four in the Premier League and then, obviously, here (at Wembley) in the FA Cup. We have to go into them with the quality and hunger that we know we can show.”

In the semi-final against Leeds, Chalobah made 11 defensive contributions, including nine clearances. He was not dribbled past and received a match rating of 7.0, according to Sofascore.
