We host Atletico Madrid in the second leg of our UEFA Champions League semi-final, and you can see how we’ve been preparing for the showdown at the Sobha Realty Training Centre with Inside Training.
Viktor Gyokeres and Julian Alvarez traded penalties in Madrid in the first leg of the tie, leaving Tuesday’s second leg delicately poised at 1-1.
Between the two legs of our semi-final, we produced an outstanding first-half performance to beat Fulham 3-0 on Saturday, while Atletico enjoyed a similarly successful afternoon with a 2-0 win over Valencia.
