Ally McCoist says Chelsea are ‘rotting away’ as a club
Former striker Ally McCoist believes that Chelsea are ‘rotting away’ even if they do manage to win the FA Cup.
McCoist has not held back in his latest comments on Chelsea after they lost 3-1 against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Monday afternoon.

I also don’t think there will be a single Chelsea fan who will disagree with what he’s said after watching their club in turmoil this past four years under this ownership group.
They need big changes. They need to get fans back on side. They need another squad rebuild. They need to find a top class manager. They have a lot to do, and it all looks impossible.

In quotes picked up by SPTC, McCoist said:
“The club is being run very, very poorly. The recruitment has been diabolical. They’ve fallen off a cliff. Something within the club is rotting away, to tell you the truth. The decline on and off the pitch has been quite remarkable.
“Of course Chelsea could go on and win the FA Cup. But the decline in standards overall, again, has been remarkable.”
