Gordon receives 5-year contact offer from Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich are wasting absolutely no time making their intentions clear ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Newcastle United attacker has been in the news recently with media speculation constantly linking him with a move away from St. James’ Park.
According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the German heavyweights have presented Newcastle winger Gordon with a concrete offer.
The Bavarian giants have put a massive five-year contract on the table, signaling a serious statement of intent.
Bayern Munich make approach for Gordon
While several top clubs have been circling the 25-year-old, Bayern’s serious approach has seemingly propelled them right to the front of the queue.
It is incredibly easy to see why Bayern are so desperate to secure Gordon’s signature.
The winger has just enjoyed a phenomenal individual campaign, particularly shining on the grandest stage with a staggering 10 goals in 12 Champions League appearances.
This elite European form has fully convinced Bayern manager Vincent Kompany, who has approved the move.
However, Bayern aren’t the only ones impressed with the England international.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have heavily monitored the England international player and could join the race soon to sign the former Everton man.
Barcelona have also shown significant interest, with their sporting director, Deco, recently holding talks with Gordon’s representatives.
Newcastle United ready to demand premium fee
While convincing the player seems to be progressing smoothly for Bayern Munich, the ultimate hurdle remains the agreement with Newcastle United.
The Magpies are under very little pressure to sell, as Gordon is securely locked into a contract that runs until 2030. Consequently, the Premier League outfit is reportedly holding out for a massive fee in the region of £77 million.
Gordon himself hasn’t publicly demanded an exit, but the desire to consistently compete for major silverware and regular Champions League football is a massive draw for the attacker.
If Bayern can find a way to meet Newcastle’s lofty valuation, both Arsenal and Liverpool would lose the race to sign the attacker before even entering the race properly.
Bayern Munich mean business and they are wasting no time to secure the signature of Gordon.
