Alex Jimenez suspended by Bournemouth
Bournemouth have released a statement confirming that they’ve suspended Alex Jimenez and are investigating the player over messages to a 15-year-old.

These messages have appeared online and certainly look pretty incriminating, as you can see from the pictures below…

Bournemouth have released a statement on their official website confirming that Jimenez will not be involved in the squad for the upcoming game against Fulham as they look into this serious incident.
“AFC Bournemouth are aware of posts circulating on social media involving right-back, Álex Jiménez,” the club’s statement read.

“The club understand the seriousness of the matter and it is currently being investigated.
“As a result, Alex will not be included in the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League game against Fulham and the club will be making no further comment at this time.”
Who is Alex Jimenez?
Jimenez is a Spanish right-back who joined Bournemouth this season, initially on loan from AC Milan.
The 21-year-old has made 32 appearances for the Cherries this term, scoring one goal, and this news is a big blow for manager Andoni Iraola.
Jimenez started out in Real Madrid’s academy and has represented Spain at youth level, but not yet at senior international level.
It will be interesting to see what kind of action ends up being taken if these leaked messages really prove to be as bad as they appear.
