How Xavi feels about replacing Liam Rosenior at Chelsea
Xavi is the latest name to be linked with the Chelsea job, which is vacant following the sacking of Liam Rosenior last month.
It was recently claimed that Chelsea have made an approach to Xavi about becoming their next manager.
His former Spain teammates Cesc Fabregas and Xabi Alonso are also said to be in the running for the position.
Xavi’s win rate is impressive – would you take him at Chelsea?
He’s won 156 of 244 games.
Xavi has no interest in joining Chelsea
Right now, there are a lot of conflicting reports about Xavi and Chelsea. Since rumours about an approach, journalist Matt Law has stated that there is actually “nothing” in the Xavi to Chelsea links.
Initially, it was also reported that Xavi would be keen to manage in England, but that has now been rebuffed by TEAMtalk.
According to the outlet, Xavi has shown no desire to replace Rosenior at Chelsea or take up any other job in the Premier League.

All in all, at this stage, it would be quite a surprise if the Barcelona legend ended up at Stamford Bridge.
As of now, everything is pointing towards Fabregas, Alonso or Andoni Iraola getting the job. One journalist is quite convinced that Alonso will be joining Chelsea ahead of next season.
Chelsea’s manager shortlist is bonkers
At this moment in time, Chelsea just seem so confused. TEAMtalk’s report claims that they have discussed the names of 20 managers! That sounds like a club with no direction and no idea what they are actually doing.
The decision to part ways with Enzo Maresca looks worse each passing day. Had he still been at Stamford Bridge, there is no way that Chelsea would be in the mess they are currently in.
It is true, performances were not great before he left, but it could have easily just been a blip. Maresca did enough at Chelsea to prove he could have turned things around.
If he does end up replacing Pep Guardiola at Manchester City one day and wins the title there, it is going to hurt.
