5 Players Who Could LEAVE Chelsea in the Summer Transfer Window
Chelsea are in a period of unwanted transition at the moment. Liam Rosenior failed to have the desired impact – now, the Blues are facing a season without European football in 2026/27.

Pedro Neto
Pedro Neto arrived at Chelsea amid plenty of hype, but never really lived up to his billing. A technically sound winger, his cautious, risk-free approach to the game has been the subject of frustation for Chelsea fans all season.
Neto could join Barcelona in the summer, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo. They haven’t made an official enquiry as of yet, but their interest in him persists.
He won’t be cheap – Chelsea will likely demand a fee of around £54 million for his services, which is what they initially paid for him back in 2024. Will Barcelona be willing to meet this valuation?
Marc Cucurella
As one of the best left-backs in the world today, Marc Cucurella has no business playing for a club who won’t be partaking in the Champions League next season. As such, it is no surprise that he has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
A report from Spanish outlet Fichajes suggests that Cucurella could make the jump to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid in the summer. A physical, tenacious defender, he’d be a perfect fit for their approach.
Cucurella has been one of the Blues’ most consistent players this season. Losing him would be a hammer blow – but with their hopes of European football dwindling, it looks all the more likely.
Liam Delap
Liam Delap has been a bit of a flop at Stamford Bridge this season. Costing the Blues a total fee of £30 million in the summer, he has only scored one goal in the Premier League during the current campaign.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Chelsea cut their losses on the former Ipswich Town man. Newcastle United, who are still in need of an out-and-out number nine, could be his next destination (via NewcastleWorld).
This could be a good move for Delap – it simply hasn’t worked out for him at Chelsea. The sooner he can move on, the better.
Enzo Fernandez
Of all the players on our list, Enzo Fernandez seems like the most likely to leave Chelsea in the summer as things stand. He has already made his intentions clear – furthermore, he has no shortage of potential suitors.
Both Manchester City and Real Madrid are thought to be leading the charge to get him on board, but they will also have to fend off competition from PSG.
Earlier in the season, Fernandez was dropped from the squad for publicly courting a move to Madrid – it would appear that the Argentinian international’s days in South-West London are numbered.
Cole Palmer
Losing Cole Palmer would be a crushing blow to Chelsea, but if they fail to secure European football before the end of the season, it is something they must prepare for. Palmer is one of the best players in the world and does not deserve to play for a club who fail to meet his demands.
According to a previous report from The Sun, Palmer is ‘homesick’ in London and wants to return to Manchester. Not Manchester City, though – he has been touted as a possible replacement for Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United.
Nevertheless, if Fernandes does not leave United in the summer, Palmer will not make the jump to Old Trafford. That aside, do not be too surprised if Palmer is no longer a Chelsea player by the start of next season.
