Three Chelsea Players who should be immediately Sold

Chelsea will make some decisive changes in their squad in the summer of 2026
Chelsea face another pivotal summer, and the names are fairly obvious. Nicolas Jackson, Benoît Badiashile, and Enzo Fernández need to leave Stamford Bridge before the 2026/27 season begins. The squad is far too bloated, the finances demand action, and keeping these three around helps no one, least of all the club itself.
1. Nicolas Jackson has played his final game in blue
AC Milan lead the chase for Jackson, and it is largely accepted that he has played his last game at Stamford Bridge. His Bayern Munich loan spell proved unconvincing, and with Liam Delap and João Pedro already on the books, Chelsea carry one striker too many heading into next season. The Blues have set his valuation at £60 million, which feels like reasonable business given the circumstances. Letting him run his contract down would be a far costlier mistake.
2. Badiashile has long outstayed his welcome
Three and a half seasons in west London, and Benoît Badiashile still cannot convince a manager to trust him regularly. Badiashile is now the third-choice left-footed central defender at Stamford Bridge, and a sale looks extremely likely this summer. He may have already played his final game for the club. He simply does not suit a system that relies heavily on building out from the back, and Chelsea need that quality in every defender they field. Selling him frees a wage slot and clears a logjam that has frustrated everyone involved.

3. Selling Enzo Fernández makes cold financial sense
This one stings, because Fernández genuinely has quality. According to sources close to the player, the sale matters to Chelsea financially, and Fernández himself has already flirted publicly with the idea of leaving. A sale would bring in close to £100 million, hand Chelsea real spending capacity, and allow Cole Palmer to reclaim his preferred number ten position.
