Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City starting XI for today’s FA Cup final clash with Chelsea.
Rodri and Gianluigi Donnarumma are not in the City team today
Gianluigi Donnarumma has been named on the bench for today’s FA Cup final with James Trafford given the nod in goal. Trafford has been used by Guardiola in domestic cup competitions this season, with Donnarumma starting every Premier League and Champions League outing since he arrived at the club bar the 2-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the latter.
Trafford has conceded just three goals in five games during City’s run to the final of the FA Cup, and he has again been given the nod in the competition over Donnarumma at Wembley.
Trafford is yet to taste defeat in a domestic cup competition for City this season following the Carabao Cup success earlier in the campaign.

In other team news, Rodri has returned to the starting XI having not played a minute of football since being taken off against Arsenal in the Premier League last month.
The Spaniard starts in midfield while Rayan Cherki has dropped to the bench. Omar Marmoush has been named in the starting XI with Phil Foden on the bench.
