Iran strikes US allies, Brent crude oil prices continue to rise
Several members of Kuwait’s Land Force were hospitalized after Iranian strikes on the country’s civilian infrastructure, the Kuwaiti Army announced in a Friday post on X.
“His Excellency the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Dirj Saad Al-Shreian, and His Excellency Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, Pilot Brigadier General Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, visited several injured personnel from the Kuwaiti Land Force who were wounded as a result of enemy drones targeting several facilities and camps affiliated with the Kuwaiti Army this morning, following the heinous Iranian aggression, to check on their health conditions and follow up on the progress of the medical care provided to them,” the army posted.
“During the visit, His Excellency listened to an explanation from the medical team regarding the health status of the injured, commending the efforts exerted by the medical staff in providing the necessary care and treatment, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery and continued health and well-being,” the post concluded.
Iran’s strikes on Kuwait targeted civilian infrastructure including power plants and a water desalination plant.
