As per EPL data, the Blues have scored 53 league goals this season. However,  Delap’s contribution has been very low in that tally. For a club that thrives on their  attacking power, such numbers from their striker are simply not enough.

The Englishman has arguably been hit with that chaos the most it seems. His runs often look unsure and his finishing lacks confidence. Still, his mindset has been the biggest positive so far. As per reports, Delap is not considering a Chelsea exit despite the heavy criticism. He believes he can turn things around if given time under the next Blues’ boss.
