Chelsea fans warn Calum McFarlane who absolutely cannot start against Forest
Chelsea return to Premier League action on Monday when they take on Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
Last time out, they played Leeds United in the FA Cup, progressing to the final after beating Daniel Farke’s side 1-0.
Alejandro Garnacho started that day, and Chelsea supporters have been discussing the winger ahead of Monday.

Chelsea fans have made one thing clear to their interim boss Calum McFarlane: they do not want to see Garnacho in the starting line-up for the visit of Forest.
The Chelsea Chronicle made a predicted XI on TalkingPoints for the game, which included Garnacho. His inclusion in the team did not go down well!

One Chelsea fan called for Romeo Lavia to replace Garnacho, suggesting a possible change of formation. They said: “Garnacho out, Lavia in.”
Another described the 21-year-old as “wasteful”, saying: “Remove wasteful Garnacho.”
One supporter is literally pleading for Garnacho not to start. They posted: “No Garnacho, please, not even on the bench.”
Another TalkingPoints user does not think he deserves any more chances. “I don’t know how many more chances Garnacho realistically warrants.”
It is clear to see that Garnacho is not the most popular figure at Stamford Bridge. He arrived from a Premier League rival Manchester United and has only scored one goal in 23 top-flight outings.
Calum McFarlane doesn’t have too many other options
Finding a replacement for Garnacho is not a straightforward task for McFarlane. Both Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian are out injured, making Pedro Neto the only real alternative to the Argentina international.

However, Neto started on the right at Wembley and put in a terrific shift, setting up Enzo Fernandez’s decisive goal.
It would probably be better to leave him there, though Cole Palmer being deployed on the right flank, Fernandez in the No.10 role and Neto on the left is also a possibility.
Whatever line-up McFarlane goes with, hopefully Chelsea can just get the three points, which they desperately need in the race for European football. The Blues cannot afford any more slip-ups.
