Chelsea and Crystal Palace are going to compete for a few different coaches this summer it seems, with Andoni Iraola among them.

When sources in Spain started talking earlier this week about Andoni Iraola being in Crystal Palace’s sights as a replacement for Oliver Glasner, there was a lot of surprise in England.
Iraola is leaving Bournemouth to try and step up to a top club – Palace feel like something of a sideways move.
But the English press have now picked up on it. Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs have combined in a piece for TalkSport about how Iraola is the Eagles “number one target,” and the Basque coach is clearly considering it.
Chelsea and Palace to compete over several manager choices
Since the sacking of Liam Rosenior, Iraola has been favourite to take the Chelsea job. It still feels likely he would prioritise us over Palace if a deal can be reached.
Another coach in the mix is Filipe Luis. He’s further down the Chelsea shortlist, but is also apparently being considered by Palace. Chelsea are the bigger name, but the Eagles are more likely to be in Europe, and offer a far more stable setup for a manager.
In other news…
Arne Slot has predicted how Chelsea will set up in tomorrow’s game as he prepares to take on the Blues at Anfield.
Moises Caicedo has signed a new deal at Chelsea, and he remains “convinced” that this was the right call.
