This may not suit James based on his fitness record, however the role of Alejandro Grimaldo in that side is one that could suit the England international perfectly.

The Spaniard’s average position was a lot deeper than Frimpong’s, however the focus for him was creating chances from this role.

There are no better technical players in the current Chelsea squad than James, and his ability to deliver pinpoint crosses from all sorts of angles can be a serious weapon.
